The Beauty and The Beast feminist analysis should be finished before this Thursday. I feel like I just need to add some finishing touches and do a revision before releasing it. It’s an interesting exploration for me because I can’t remember ever really consciously identifying as a feminist until quite recently. I recognize that it’s rather contentious within radical circles — of all stripes from communist anarchists to libertarians to anarcho-libertarians and so on — whether feminism is desirable or not
I welcome comments from all on this issue! I’d be happy to defend my own position against those who are skeptical towards it

Feeding the Guerillas is a good analysis of the problems faced in the attempt to establish the dominance of a central government over militias in Iraq.
These pieces are rather meaty so I’ll leave you with two light hearted columns by Mark Morford. I should point out that his satire will probably only elicit a laugh from those with liberal cultural values. I admit that I understand how leftists can be stereotypical of those with more conservative values in the manner that conservatives can stereotype progressives.
