Studies in Dialectical Libertarianism: Dedication Page

For Arthur F. Silber, whose passionate writing originally inspired, and continues to inspire me to make my own intellectual contributions.

(I plan an acknowledgements page when the book is finished to give credit to all those who contributed to making it possible in some way. Just wanted to specially thank Arthur since his Light of Reason blog was my original inspiration to start my own net writing enterprise.
I had written on politics since I was in middle school– journals for various teachers– but didn’t catch the blog bug until Arthur.)

Comic Relief in Dreary Times

James Dobson is one of the most horrid figures on the religious right because of his authoritarian conception of child-rearing that Arthur Silber first brought to my attention. I gained a hearty chuckle from this parody of Dobson.

Apologizes and More to Come (Again)

My apologizes for not writing a great deal like I’ve promised– I’ve meant to do so stretching back into November– but I suffer from rather intense depressions at times. Ill feelings have caused me to not be very focused or energetic lately despite having a great deal I’d like to write about.

Thoughts about political correctness, dualistic models of thinking, and the campaign of mass murder being conducted in Iraq to come.
