Song of the Day-Pearly Gates

Wish I had a Bob Dylan album because songs like Knocking On Heaven’s Door are an utter delight.

On another note, I’ll be writing some more regular posts that aren’t related to music. They’ll be short since my longer pieces are worked on bit by bit.

Song of the Day-Fabulous

One band I spent lots of time listening too many moons ago was Everclear, tunes like Wonderful kept me coming back to them time and time again.

Song of the Day-Unfulfilled

80’s pop music has been my latest fetish since I rediscovered the Fine Young Cannibals whose song I’m Not Satisfied always manages to loosen me up.

Song of the Day-Clothing Optional

Not sure where my Bodeans album has gone but I miss rocking tunes from it like Naked.

Song of the Day-Moving West

On a search for more Fine Young Cannibals tunes, I stumbled across an odd but delightful song titled King Of Wishful Thinking by Go West. Never heard of these guys before but really enjoyed my first exposure.

Song of the Day-Just a Memory

It’d been awhile since I listened to the Rolling Stones but their tune Memory Motel popped into my mind today.

Songs of the Day-Odd Duo

Two songs I love are:

-She Drives Me Crazy by the Fine Young Cannibals.

-Natural Woman by Aretha Franklin.

Songs of the Day-Miles Redux

Miles Davis makes a comeback today with two good songs.
-Freddie Freeloader

-Blue In Green

Let me take a moment to say that I have more writing ambition than energy right now but hope to really ramp it up soon.
